First Draughts is AMiOS‘ new play reading series, where 4 playwrights expand 7-minute SHOTZ! plays into full-length first drafts over the course a 6-month development process. 

AMiOS has helped develop 16 plays throughout 4 Volumes of the First Draughts series. 

Two plays from our 2017-18 cohort—New Galileos by Amy Berryman and Vanquished by Jenny Grace Makholm—were named finalists for the 2019 Eugene O’Neill Playwrights conference. 

Our 2019-20 cohort includes Erin Adams, lim, Seth McNeill, and Michael Sadler.
